SIAST Instructors had the opportunity to attend a webinar on February 21st facilitated by Charles Morgan, Chair of Mathematics Department at Lock Haven University. The webinar spoke about Professor Morgan’s experiences in using podcasts for the past three years in his math/statistics classes at the University. He noted that although he did not make them compulsory that 90% of his students used the podcasts to brush up on the mechanics. While he didn’t go into making podcasts other than noting one could use Microsoft Expression Encoder software which can be downloaded for free.
